Interventions: nothing closes without evidence

For faculty & academic staff · Updated September 30, 2026

How interventions open themselves, who owns them, and how to close one correctly.

WatchNothing closes without evidence · 45 secYouTube

Every compliance flag becomes a required action on Interventions — with a named owner, a deadline, and a documented outcome.

They open themselves

Attendance below 80%, an SAP warning or probation, a withdrawal clock, or a document chase that ran out of reminders — each opens an intervention automatically. Nothing waits for someone to notice.

Close an intervention

  1. Open the intervention.
  2. Record what you did, when, and the result.
  3. Close it. It can’t be closed without a documented outcome.
