Payment status: due, partial, past due, paid in full

For owners & finance staff · Updated September 30, 2026

What each ledger status means and what changes it.

Every student on the Ledger carries one payment status, computed from their charges and payments the moment the page opens.

  • No payment due — nothing has been charged yet (the student is not yet accepted).
  • Due — tuition is posted and nothing has been paid.
  • Partial — something has been paid; a balance remains.
  • Past due — a balance remains and a charge's due date has passed.
  • Paid in full — balance is zero.
  • Refund recorded — a refund has been issued against this account.

Past-due balances also appear on Overview under School Pulse (collections) and in the daily Atticus AI summary, so they are never only on the Ledger page.
